"As the business world continues to progress and more is expected from fewer people in a quicker time, it is
essential that anyone involved in the business world, and certainly in the management of people has the most up to date
and effective coaching tools at their disposal.
What we are committed to is the development of practical, usable coaching tools that become
integrated into the business use of high performing managers. After all you don't want someone in your organisation that
can write a thesis on coaching, you want (and need) managers and senior executives that can coach effectively and in a motivational manner.
With this in mind, and the experience of working on a selection of real life business issues, challenges and individuals
throughout a wide range of industries (please see our client list) we are constantly reviewing and updating our business coaching
models to assist you in achieving your goals. After all, the coaching arena continues to grow, develop and adapt as your needs change.
So as you would expect, the Business Coaching Foundation is at the forefront of innovative unique coaching models that have been tried & tested throughout top organisations within the UK. These include:
- The STAR model. Our principal model which is introduced during the foundation programme. This business model is focused on a skilled,
structured conversation between two individuals in a work scenario giving the 'coach' a framework to achieve a positive result very quickly
and effectively. Our star performer & very practical.
- The DO IT model. This model is principally for dealing with an individual and getting them to reflect on any challenge(s) that needs
to be addressed and worked through. This is slightly more reflective than the STAR model and is actually addressed in our book ‘Walking in a Coaching Wonderland’
- The ISIS model. This model is introduced on the advanced programme and is covered under the 'smokescreen' heading. There are predominately 3 types of individuals that need
coaching. The high performer, the individual with a topic to discuss & the person with the smokescreen! Either they won't tell you or won't admit to a topic. The ISIS model
introduces a method of addressing this situation.
These unique models have been used by various top organisations with massive success. If you have a measurable challenge, then these models (or any one of them) will provide you with a great return on investment (ROI). In fact a recent survey demonstrated a 5.7% ROI from coaching."
If you would like to book a place on our foundation programme to experience the STAR model for yourself then please take a look at the calendar, select a date that suits you and drop us a line.
